About the Position

Are you passionate about shooting videos and are looking to build a portfolio? Then this would be the ideal opportunity for you! CTPA is seeking a videographer to help capture a variety of interviews and promotional videos to help build the organization’s brand and increase online video presence. We currently have a growing list of internal projects requiring attention. The position will give you the opportunity to increase your network with various acclaimed speakers, sponsors, advisory board, volunteers, established professionals and thriving entrepreneurs across several industries. Your work will also gain exposure through our various social media channels which collectively have 5000+ followers.

Roles and Responsibilities

        • Write scripts and storyboards
        • Shoot videos using a variety of filming techniques relevant to type of video required
        • Support operations of CTPA’s online media initiatives, including but not limited to camera, staging, lighting set-up/tear-down and support during film/photo shoots
        • Work with Communications and Marketing directors to build a cohesive brand
        • Work with Directors to develop and deliver a video aligning with what was originally envisioned
        • Meet deadlines and self-manage when necessary

    Skills and Qualifications

          • Practical experience shooting and editing videos is an asset
          • Flexibility to work 8 to 10 hours per month when shoots are organized
          • Proficient in MS office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
          • Experience with video editing software such as Adobe Creative Suite (i.e. Premier Pro), Final Cut Pro, or iMovie is an asset
          • Must own video equipment
